WARNING : This entry may contain sarcastic and anger-filled comments. Read with caution.*Please do not conclude that I need anger management therapy. I AM PERFECTLY NORMAL. Just that things get on my nerves at times but so far I took it pretty well.Yesterday marks my second day of night duty. All I can conclude is that the staff nurses who are on with me are pretty "hardworking". Dah lah not helping with me and my junior's work but have the cheek to ask me to do their work. Malas betul. Geram aku. Some more, they are supposed to bring food for us student nurses but they didn't. For two nights straight already. Kedekut giler. Hope their butts get stucked in the toilet bowl when they poo. LOL! Really PK betul. And, I don't understand why some people are so "ill" until willing to be admitted to the
Deluxe room just for a simple diarrhoea and dehydration. Diarrhoea only 3 times and vomit 3 times only mah. Deluxe room? They must be out of their minds. I had diarrhoea for up to 10 times or more but never got admitted also. Sigh! I really don't understand anything anymore.
For the whole night yesterday, a particular infusion pump machine really got on my nerves. It was making sound all night long even when I did everything I could to silence it, in other words, interventions so that the "air in line" alarm will not be on. This machine is certainly "ding dong". Buat aku geram aje. Argh! Some more I can't make so much noise or turn on the lights because this small boy will wake up and create another not-needed ruckus. So I have to work my way in the dark with a little night light on. I really wanted to throw the machine on the floor and smashed it to smithereens. But on second thought, it is in the middle of the night plus my allowance is so minuscule I have to resort to "selling smile" to get more money. Nah, that is a joke. Lucky for me I got my Dad a.k.a ATM. I know it's lame. Hey, just layan a bit lah. I am not in the best of mood ok?
Two nights before,
Betty, one of my patients who I mentioned about in the previous post fell down. What happened was this - she was in the washroom, where she saw this leaf (daun lah, bodoh) under the sink. So when she was done, she bend down to pick up the damn leaf and fell and knocked her head against the door. Poor her. As if that is not bad enough, the turban-wearing doctor came and see her after the incident ordered for hourly observation. It is night time, for goodness' sake. True to my guess, Betty didn't sleep at all the whole night. I really pity her. So much for rescuing the leaf but the stupid leaf got her into so much problem. She was so angry with this particular doctor that she told me that she wanna skin him alive and called him "a very naughty man". LOL! Anger is in everyone.
Hopefully tonight will be a better night. But I enjoy working nonetheless. This junior who is on with me is not that bad. Funny. LOL!
