Wow...It's been a long time since I last posted an update here. Think I'll not go into details of why I didn't post anything these past few weeks and just write what I have to write. Someone has been asking me why I never update my blog one...So, this is for him...*winks* Muacks! Love you...
In unchronological (does that word exist? err, never mind lah hor? understood right?) order:
Today was a day full of shocks. Thought my heart stopped beating for a while. Reason being something happened to my
darling. I think I need CPR more than you already lah. Haha! Make sure you take really good care of yourself ok? I can't be around you all the time when this kinda thing happens. Anyway, I got myself a new haircut. Will post up some pics soon. Yeah, I chopped off my long locks and the end result is this not so long-not so short hairstyle...Don't really know how to describe this hairstyle of mine anyway, so you guys judge for me ok? So far I've got quite a few comments from friends and my first comment from my darling of course. He said I look nice. Haha! Luckily...Before I went for the chop, I keep asking him whether I should really cut my hair or not. Again and again. I think he's kinda sian already because I keep asking. Sorry lah darling. That's me. I'm very loh-soh one...Like granny only hor? At last I went for it anyway and I really have this to say - I'm quite happy with the end result. Been wanting to get a shorter hairstyle but is kinda afraid if I'll look nice or not with it. After all, I've had long hair for quite some time already. Used to it already. Now I'm adjusting just fine with my new style. Call me a chameleon or whatever you like but I just love to change my hairstyle. I get bored with just one style. For this year alone I think I changed my hairstyle for like a few times already - from straight golden brown straight hair to curls to purple hair to straight faded-purple, brownish red to now. Phew, in my past life I must have been a chameleon. LOL!
That aside, I watched quite a number of movies these past weeks. Some notable ones are "The Bourne Ultimatum" and "Resident Evil". "Invasion" is not bad too, heard about the disease ADEM (Acute Disseminated Encephalo-Myelitis) in the ward I worked before previously. This girl who was admitted with a simple diagnosis of Viral Fever with dehydration turns out to have ADEM. She was already semi-conscious and not responsive to calls so was sent to HDU (High Dependency Unit). Apparently her story goes like this. A 20 year old girl, she was feeling stressful and depressed because of exams, studies and relationship problem (she just broke up with her boyfriend during her exam period). She smokes casually and lives with friends. The day I saw her, she couldn't respond to calls and opens her eyes to pain only, which is not a very good sign. She was put on tube-feeding. We have to do thorough nursing care for her – bed bath and turning to prevent her from having pressure sores and foot drop. It is really a sad case of a young girl who could do so much but ended up this way.
I really can't think of anything to write already because I think it has been too long already since I last updated. Maybe when I think of something I'll write k?
