TRINITY MEGAN

Life has been pretty "suay" for me lately as I have been falling sick quite easily. Just a few weeks ago I suffered from UTI and just yesterday I had tonsilitis (inflammation of the tonsils). It's no wonder why I have such bad sore throat for days and fever. Got pricked for a blood test as the doctor suspect I may be having dengue fever because she saw I have rashes on my body. Luckily it's not. I don't want to be admitted because of a mozzie. LOL!

I wonder how my liver and kidneys are doing now because of the detoxification process they have to go through as I am on drugs in such a short hiatus. I also have to start on iron pills as soon as possible because of low haemoglobin count. Sigh! Drugs, supplements and all. I pity myself at times. But there are people who are worse off. My problem is nothing compared to them.

Speaking of which, I came across a patient who happens to be an ex-army officer. His name is real cool with a "Major" at the end. What I find amusing about him is how he reacts every time I checked his blood pressure. He was admitted because of hypertension with stress. Heard from the staff nurse that he has two wives and maybe that's the cause of his stress since he is a retiree now. Anyway, that's not my concern and my job is to check his blood pressure and let him know the reading after I checked him. So he always will have this "why-is-my-blood pressure-still-so-high-even-after-treatment-kinda expression" and will sigh away. LOL!

Was at Midvalley on 11th December and it happened to be a public holiday. Man! It was so packed and so hard to walk around. I went there, main objective is to get a farewell present for our teacher who is leaving us soon. But when I got the present already, the sickening class representative said the gift I bought is not suitable for the occasion. Even when I was already feeling unwell I went ahead and go out to do my task, she don't appreciate what I have done and won't listen to my opinion. Some people are just too stuck-up and think they are the ones with the best opinions. Dare to tell me some more that she is in this department where she is busy and can't get away with work, whereas I am doing shift work. She has PUBLIC HOLIDAY on that day for goodness' sake and I was on MORNING SHIFT. Feel cheated somehow. Shouldn't be too kind next time. People take advantage on this kinda people like me.

But all in all, I am grateful for what I have. Can't wait for Christmas Eve partying which is coming very soon.

P/S: I am feeling much better after a good night's rest (damn the gang of baboons who make so much noise when I was trying to sleep last night but luckily I manage to fall asleep somehow) and of course with darling's love and care. Muacks! I love you dear....
